Krieger is native to São Paulo, Brazil and has a masters degree in symbolic systems. He also graduated from Stanford University and worked at Meebo as a front end engineer and user experience designer. When these men were younger they loved to play with cameras and loved how they were marketed as instant. Telegram was significantly similar to people sending photos over the web, so they thought why not infuse the two words. This is the story behind the name!
